BACnet A Truly Open Protocol<\/h2>\n

BACnet is a Data Communication Protocol for Building Automation and Control Networks. Developed under the auspices of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), BACnet is an American national standard, a European pre-standard, and an ISO global standard. The protocol is supported and maintained by ASHRAE Standing Standard Project Committee 135. BACnet provides a universal model for creating building automation systems that can interoperate with one another. The Andover Controls Continuum line is considered “native” BACnet, they can interface with other BACnet devices without a gateway or other third party device. With Continuum’s ability to integrate with a great number of proprietary and legacy protocols it can bring all the systems in your facility such as fire, elevator control, security etc. together in one workstation so they can work together.
