Michael Looney, has been a Shareholder\/Vice President\/Sr. Project Director of Controls Unlimited Inc. since its establishment in November of 1994. His major responsibilities include the coordination of all technical activities on all projects. Such as, bids, plans, schedules, and conducts and coordinates assigned contracted work; monitors work for compliance to applicable codes; ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and all other project participants. Being a shareholder in the corporation, Mr. Looney is also responsible for overseeing all aspects of the work to be completed for CUI. Manages all workforce employees and apprentices with day-to-day interaction, along with all daily maintenance of the office and the bookkeeping responsibilities. Prior to the establishment of CUI in 1994, Mr. Looney worked from 1993-94 for Quality Controls as a Field Installer of HVAC Energy Management Systems on commercial buildings. Mr. Looney attended the Apprentice Program for Steamfitters Local Union 602 from 1984 thru 1988. He is a licensed HVAC Tradesman granted by the Government of Washington, DC, and a Certified Tradesman by the VA Board of Contractors.
